Outlet Heaven in Tuscany

If you're planning on travelling to Tuscany in Italy, make sure to stop by the region's great designer outlets. I've been to outlets before, but so far no one beats these hidden pearls.

The Mall

Far out on the Tuscan countryside, you'll find this luxury outlet mall. The Mall consists of several shops worth visiting if you are a bargain hunter like me. The Gucci outlet is by far the largest, but also YSL, Valentino, Sergio Rossi, Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Marni, Stella McCartney, and La Perla is worth browsing through.

Prices are relatively low - with savings up to 75% off retail price. I was lucky to visit during the sale season, which meant further reductions on selected items.

Prada Factory Outlet

This is indeed an upper class factory outlet! Here you'll find a wide assortment of Prada's collections including clothing (men and women), shoes, accessories, and last but least hand bags...

A small selection of Miu Miu, Helmuth Lang and Church shoes are also represented - if you're lucky. I was happy to find a really nice planner in soft leather for just 50 euros. That's a real bargain!

Still Going Shorty

Even though the summer is well passé (at least in Oslo), there's no reason to clear your shorts away. Worn with tights, the short season can last throughout the cooler seasons. My pair is from Bik Bok, and I've styled it with a turtle neck from H&M, shoes from Zara, and my usual arm candy from Mulberry.

....dress and scarf from H&M, combined with Faux leather jacket from April 77, vintage boots from Paris and my Mulberry bag. Now, I'm off to the movies to see the new Norwegian movie, "Tatt av kvinnen".

Outlet Sale Coming Up!

When it comes to jewellery, Dyrberg/Kern is by far one of my favourites. Their design is glamorous, yet very wearable for most occasions. But since I don't really feel like spending lots of money on buying my own gem, I love their seasonal outlet sales. Great savings on every piece allow you to splurge - without bringing yourself to the brink of ruin.

Window Dacoration

For my birthday a couple of weeks ago I got these lovely shabby chic candlesticks. I love the romantic look of them, and combined with fresh flowers and a vase, it makes a decorative tableau. It's funny how such a small change can create an entire new feel to a room. Try yourself!

White Wedding

I have never in my life seen more beautifully arranged flowers than my friend's wedding bouquet. She married her high school boyfriend yesterday - the biggest event of the summer of 07, and I got to celebrate the big day with 58 friends and family members. As you can imagine, it was a great day and night!

My dress for the day was a second hand purchase from a Bangkok market, whereas my shoes origin from ASOS.
