In a few hours I am leaving for Stockholm with a bunch of friends of mine, where I will hang out and drink wine until Sunday. Since we’ll be staying at a possibly questionable hostel, I won’t dare to bring my Mac, and therefore will most likely not blog while I’m away. I will however bring my camera, and even though my talented photographer will stay at home, I hope to have some nice pictures for you when I get back. Have a great weekend everyone! So long!
I got a little surprise in the mail today. The moment I saw the name Bona Drag I knew it had to be good as I love just about every single item in that shop. It turned out to be Hannah, the designer behind With Hearts In My Eyes, and Bona Drag, who had sent me a skirt. And it isnīt just any skirt, itīs the patchwork skirt that I have been lusting after for a while. What a happy coincidence! The best thing about this skirt isnīt just the vibrant patchwork, but also the fact that itīs reversible. When Iīm in the mood for something a little more casual, I can just turn it inside out and wear it as a denim skirt! I wish I had the time to take proper outfit shots as I changed into the skirt at once! I am on the other hand packing as I am leaving for Stockholm tomorrow. I always get so stressed out when I am going somewhere even though I usually always have everything under control. Better shots to come though - I have a feeling I will be wearing this skirt a lot! | I stopped by a thrift shop on my way one and came across this safety pin bracelet. I remember them from I was younger when I had an orange one. Even though I had no idea whether I would ever wear it, I snatched it. You know that nostalgic feeling, itīs hard to shake. When I got home I googled the “art” of safety pin jewelry making, and I came across a cute kidīs site with loads of instructions for different creations. I especially like the brooches, they seem like fun little projects for rainy days, much like in the spirit of the friendship bracelets I attempted making earlier.
Being indoors cooking is no fun when the weather is nice, so the solution is to make tuna sandwiches and run outdoors to eat and have a beer. Skirt: Secondhand
I keep getting a lot of questions about Molvin and have decided to put together a little post for those of you who are thinking of getting a pig of your own. In other words, this is a post completely unrelated to fashion, but I feel obligated to do it so that you know about the good and bad about owning such an animal. Click more if youīd like to know more about having pigs as a pet, keep scrolling if youīre here for what this blog is really about.
I got a comment on the blog saying how it was such a disgrace that someone were selling a fake designer bag on Etsy. There was a link, which I clicked, and it lead me to this. A fake Dior tennis bag. I immediately thought of the vintage Adidas tennis skirt I got several years ago, and the fact that I had been planning to start playing tennis but never did. Seing that I donīt exercise at all, I figured getting a fun bag wouldnīt be a stupid way to actually take the step. So I got it. Fidgetfinds is the shop. A little part of me was hoping that it would turn out to be authentic, even though I have no idea whether Dior have ever made such a bag. Thereīs little doubt though that itīs fake, but it still seems to be of good quality. The straps are of leather and the canvas seems in great condition. It has never even been used. But the best thing is the pocket for your tennis racket, that was actually the selling point for me, not the logo print. So it can be as fake as it possibly can be, but I still love it as Iīve never seen anything like it. Now I just need tennis shoes. This bag is the third of my Dior bags, all found secondhand. Which one is real and which one is not is left to the experts to decide, although I am pretty sure the burgundy one is authentic, just cause of the things I found inside it as well as the age of it. Itīs possibly the only logo print I like, but this is it. Unless I would come across another $10 find, the collection is now complete.
We went out with my sister for dinner and I have now officially spent way too much money. After being out and about the entire weekend, I am not only broke, I am exhausted as well. But itīs been fun! Dress: Secondhand
We went to the Ekeberg restaurant to have lunch. Itīs the first time Iīve ever been there and the view was incredible! Skirt: Secondhand
I got changed for the evening into a dress I bought today. I decided to tuck it into a skirt and wear it as a top instead. Skirt: Secondhand
Another sunny day and another afternoon spent in the backyard. I went shopping this morning, as usual, and ended up with these gladiator heels among other things. Dress: H&M
